Every blog has to make a splash with a giveaway, right? Discovering Wonderful is no exception, and I'm going to start out with a special treat. Another First

Here's your very first sneak peek! You're getting an intro look at one of the items that will go on sale the first week of February. I thought I'd lead off with this darling little number.

 At first glace, it's simply a jaw dropping vintage brown trench, made from genuine leather with that weathered look that only years of love can give a leather piece. A second glance at the fasteners on this jacket can't help but produce a girlish squeal: "They're keys!"

This one of a kind piece is what inspired me to start this sight. What retail store could you march in looking for one of these? It is the quintessential discovery of wonderful.

Re-purposing, thrifting, up-scaling, or the same rose by any other name is all the rage these days. But really, who’s going to haunt every thrift store in a twenty mile radius, sifting through bottomless piles of worthless looking for priceless? Lucky for you, some people enjoy the hunt–yours truly included. This site will bring those items straight to you. Gems that I find will end up in your closet, without a day’s round of thrift stores leaving you with nothing but frizzy hair and the scent of Eau de Mothballs.

Starting February 1st, I will begin posting items for sale. Don't worry, you'll have some sneak peeks before then! The goal here is to work up to one new item per day. I will list an item on eBay and feature it on my blog. The price will reflect what I paid for it, not what its actually worth, so I’ll be passing on the bargains! You will have 24 hours to bid on the item. If the concept catches on, I’ll start my very own store where you can purchase the products straight from my sight. So spread some love ladies!
